Make peace with yourself.

Life can fall apart for you in the blink of an eye. While many of the trials and tribulations we’re presented you can’t avoid, some may be self imposed. Either way you still you have to get through them. However, the most important thing is that you don’t lose yourself in the process. No matter how low things get for you, remember WHO you are. You are far more important than the things you go through. You are far more important than the things you’ve done. You have to hold yourself up and walk through the fire. Take accountability, responsibility, and the initiative to put things back in place. Even if you’re deemed the villain in someone else’s life story, that doesn’t automatically make you a bad person. It just means you may have done a bad thing that affected the other person/people. Everyone processes things differently. Something that may not seem as big to you could be astronomical to someone else. Give people the space to heal and even give people the space to not like you, it’s okay, not everyone is going to. And how they feel about you doesn’t put your life on pause or define you. Own it, make peace if you can and if not keep moving forward with a lesson learned. Life doesn’t stop for anyone so don’t let it’s lessons stop you from continuing yours. Know who you are outside of the “good and bad” circumstances and you can get through anything. We’re all deserving of love, peace, forgiveness, grace and the space to feel our emotions and move accordingly. You aren’t your worst moments and you aren’t your best. You aren’t defined by your past but how you handle it and move forward. Live your life unapologetically, but always be mindful of your impact and presence in other people’s lives. You matter most in your life, but you aren’t the only one that matters.
