Trigger Warning: Death.

It’s such a weird time to be alive in the age of social media and technology. We see such a wide variety of so many things from marriages, sports, cartoons, pop culture, politics, porn, memes, societal issues and more. So much of everything but also so much death. Of course people been dying since the beginning of time, but to actually see it in real time is so crazy. To see a person’s story posted 14 hours ago and to know that they’re now deceased is such an eerie feeling. To see floods of people giving their virtual condolences on a post. It’s eerie but a huge reminder that life is so short and precious. You have to really live this shit like it’s your last day because you literally never know when it will be. With everything going on in the world it may seem like it’s no point, but for yourself you have to enjoy the time you have here. The time you have with your loved ones. The time you have to experiment. The time you have do anything that you want. The time you have to experience. When you die how do you want to be remembered? How do you want to be venerated? How did you treat people when you were here? All those things matter the most. Not what car you drove, not what house you had, not the clothes you wore. What were YOU like? Death always reminds me that we have a limited time here, so why not try and make the best of it for ourselves and the people who get to experience us? You never know when anyone’s time is so just try to be kind for your sake and others.
